Stacy is one of the most talented souls I’ve met in my career who has a golden heart with abundance of values. I first found her as a very cooperate team colleague as an Allied Health Assistant who stands with me in all situations and then I found the beautiful soul lies within her. Stacy is working on her best to make the lives of aged residents in our aged care facilities of regional Victoria better and she is doing a great job on international student’s welfare to make their life’s enlightened in the community. Everything is very optimistic when she is around and she is not just affable, she is more than that

Helen Nicholls-Stary
(Program Manager - The Lounge International Student Centre)
Stacy has been a tremendous supporter of The Lounge International Student Centre Geelong since we first connected via social media. Stacy has been able to work with the other Lounge International Student Ambassadors to create engaging and fun activities for The Lounge. On Thursday 1 June, Stacy coordinated the Cultural Exchange Night, where she arranged live musical performances, cultural presentations along with prizes and giveaways.
Working with the team she facilitated the social media posts to promote the evening and was the MC for the night. Stacy has a warm and social nature and is able to connect easily with international students which makes them feel comfortable at The Lounge. Her positive disposition has an influence on those around her and she can easily rally support and interest. Stacy can easily lead a team as well as step back and encourage others to get involved. She has boundless energy and is passionately committed to supporting international students. Stacy is an excellent role model for other international students and we believe she is a suitable candidate for the Victorian International Education Awards.
Rachel Waite
(Coordinator, Student Engagement
- Deakin University)
Stacy supported an event that I coordinated in March 2023, called the Fusion Festival (a Harmony Week celebration), by taking on the role of Master of Ceremonies (MC) for this event. Stacy demonstrated a significant commitment to this role by conducting a lot of preparatory work with her co-MC to ensure that she had a strong clarity of her role as MC, adding her own personal flare to the speaking notes provided, and conducting additional research on the cultural backgrounds of the music and activations displayed during the event – all of
which allowed her to serve as a confident and engaging MC on the day! Through her contributions to this role, Stacy demonstrated outstanding leadership, and a deep commitment to celebrating the cultural diversity of all Deakin students and we could not have asked for a better MC for this event! Thank you so much, Stacy!

(Mentor of DEAP
- Deakin University)
I have worked with Stacy since the start of her employment at DEAP and I have found Stacy to be a very energetic, fun and compassionate team member. Stacy is incredibly bubbly and approachable for regional students, which is evident in the number of students that converse with her on shifts.
While being fun and bubbly, Stacy is also adamant on encouraging students to take their time in long-term decision making. Stacy is known for promoting the concept of “Ikigai'', a Japanese concept that finds a middle ground between things that you enjoy and things you are good at. Students find learning about the Ikigai from Stacy as interesting and something they will consider. Overall, Stacy is a fantastic team member that supports students while also having fun with them.

(Client - Fora Therapy)
Stacy is a very competent Allied Health Assistant in Paediatrics. She has an excellent enthusiasm, communication and problem-solving capacity whose passion is always driven by her desire to contribute to the community. At challenging times during sessions with my son, Stacy shows great patience and resilience - she never seems to give up on any kids she has worked with and that's exactly what has made her a great healthcare worker.

Whether through her problem-solving or endless energy to ensure the best delivery of her therapy sessions, Stacy has proven to my family that she is a great leader in leading the family-centred practice in Paediatrics and the progress of Nam’s therapy plan.
